My Existing Polished Concrete Floor Needs Some Repairs. Can You Help?

Yes, we sure can! Mechanically Polished Concrete Floors can actually be repaired quite easily in small areas, and even our hybrid finish can be spot-repaired. However, when it comes to a Grind and Seal, please be aware that we will usually need to re-finish the entire area. Otherwise, if we only do part of the area, the floor is going to look very different in one spot and this may not be aesthetically appealing.

If the whole area of the Grind and Seal needs to be refinished, the process usually requires a sand back or a full Grind back and re-grout and then a re-seal. The exact process that is used will be dependent both on how deep the damage goes and the amount of time the floor has been left since dull patches first became noticeable.

In some cases, the only way to repair scratches in your Polished Concrete Floors is to regrind and repolish. This means that regrinding will take place to remove the existing Polish, which will ultimately remove the scratches. It will then be re-polished.
