If you need to create a bigger profile for any reason then a bigger shot is the way to go. But still, the same rule applies; use the smallest shot that will give you the profile at the best time.

Shotblasting has the advantage that it is far faster and less costly per square metre to prepare floors and give excellent adhesion. Many coatings contractors will Shot Blast lightly, then diamond grind lightly, to get an excellent finish and give your customer the ultimate adhesion on the job.
