How Do We Tackle Tile Floor Removal Jobs?
The process below is how we tackle residential jobs, we often use ride-on floor scrapers for commercial work.
Step 1. We use a Hilti TE-2000 AVR Demolition Hammer while Removing Floor Tiles which we connect to our Hilti TE DRS-B Dust Removal System which is connected to a DustMaster DM-2680-M Dust Extractor for dust suppression on all of our jobs to provide a Dust-Free Tile Floor Removal experience for all of our clients.
Step 2. After we have finished the Tile Floor Removal throughout your property we will remove all the tile glue/cement residue on your concrete slab with the use of a high-powered Concrete Grinder that is also directly connected to a high-powered DustMaster DM-2680-M Dust Extractor.
While Removing Floor Tiles there can be several different installation methods used, this will affect the price that we charge you for Tile Floor Removal. So you must check how your Slate Tiles were installed, as well as what your subfloor is:
If you have a CONCRETE subfloor you will require our Concrete Grinding services after the Slate Tile Removal process.
If you have a TIMBER subfloor you will need to hire a Floor Sander to sand off any remaining glue or other residues after we have finished Removing Floor Tiles from your property.
