Yes, Our Polished Concrete Floors are extremely versatile and can be customised to suit a range of requirements and settings, including shops, factories, and both indoor and outdoor areas of homes, including garages, driveways patios, alfresco areas, pool areas, and outdoor kitchens. As well as customizing the decorative element of your concrete, we can also make your Polished Concrete Floor slip-resistant and UV-resistant thanks to our large range of sealants.

Although for outdoor spaces, we recommend our ‘Honed Non-Slip Finish Concrete for your floors, which is a matte finish. Indoors, you can choose between either a ‘Grind and Seal’ or a Mechanical Polished Concrete

The alternative for these areas is Honed Concrete The reason for this is to provide alternatives for a more slip and UV-resistant finish. Honed Concrete is ideal for driveways, outdoor areas, concrete around your pool, carports, etc. The other option is “Grind and Sealed Concrete“

Although we offer our ‘Honed Concrete’ non-slip finish, which lasts the longest of all and is UV-stable. This durable outdoor floor uses penetrative sealer, so it’s also the lowest maintenance choice of outdoor options. We do also have an outside grind and seal, which uses topical sealer, and in the topcoat of sealer, we include a non-slip grit.

However, please note that we always prefer and recommend Honed Concrete for outdoor spaces, because it feels much better underneath bare feet, lasts longer, and children won’t ‘grate’ their skin on it if they fall. If you have pets, your pets will also love the Honed finish, whereas the non-slip grit Grind and Seal can feel too rough.

There’s really only one reason to choose the Grind and Seal outside as opposed to the Honed finish, and that is if you want a high gloss because Honed finishes are matte only. Aside from desiring a gloss finish, we strongly recommend a Honed finish for its longevity, convenience, and comfort.
